Every Thursday night is art night in Chelsea. Galleries open up free to the
public, feature the latest art and, of course, serve plenty of free wine.
Normally you would need to navigate through a number of
magazines/websites for exhibit details.

I wanted to create a website dedicated specifically to
displaying all relative information to Thursday art nights in Chelsea.
Users can check the map for the latest exhibit events, save them to
their itinerary, as well as submit a gallery or event not on the list.

ProjectKick was born out of the desire to understand, visualize and connect
with the creative culture of NYC. Kickstarter immediately came to mind as the
perfect gateway, but Alina and her co-creator didn't want to stop at just one city.

They collected thousands of current or successful project data points,
across hundreds of US cities going as far back as August 2009. They
parsed the data to display in three main ways- by city, category, and funding.

Their goal is to help understand the creative culture across the
country and see which categories the most popular projects
fall under and are the most funded.
